For enhanced safety, the front and rear seat shoulder belts of the Ford Bronco have pretensioners to tighten the seatbelts and eliminate dangerous slack in the event of a collision and force limiters to limit the pressure the belts will exert on the passengers. The INEOS Grenadier doesn’t offer pretensioners for its rear seat belts.

In the past twenty years hundreds of infants and young children have died after being left in vehicles, usually by accident. When turning the vehicle off, drivers of the Bronco 4-Door are reminded to check the back seat if they opened the rear door before starting out. The Grenadier doesn’t offer a back seat reminder.

The Bronco has standard Post Collision Braking, which automatically apply the brakes in the event of a crash to help prevent secondary collisions and prevent further injuries. The Grenadier doesn’t offer a post collision braking system: in the event of a collision that triggers the airbags, more collisions are possible without the protection of airbags that may have already deployed.

The Bronco (except Base/Big Bend/Heritage) offers an optional 360-Degree Camera to allow the driver to see objects all around the vehicle on a screen. The Grenadier only offers a rear monitor and rear parking sensors that beep or flash a light. That doesn’t help with obstacles to the front or sides.

The Bronco Big Bend/Outer Banks/Badlands/Stroppe/Raptor/Heritage’s blind spot warning system uses sensors to alert the driver to objects in the vehicle’s blind spots where the side view mirrors don’t reveal them. The Grenadier doesn’t offer a system to reveal objects in the driver’s blind spots.

To help make backing out of a parking space safer, the Bronco Big Bend/Outer Banks/Badlands/Stroppe/Raptor/Heritage’s standard Cross Traffic Alert uses sensors in the rear to alert the driver to vehicles approaching from the side, helping the driver avoid collisions. The Grenadier doesn’t offer a rear cross-path warning system.

Both the Bronco and the Grenadier have standard driver and passenger frontal airbags, front side-impact airbags, side-impact head airbags, plastic fuel tanks, four-wheel antilock brakes, traction control, electronic stability systems to prevent skidding, crash mitigating brakes, daytime running lights, rearview cameras, available lane departure warning systems and driver alert monitors.

The Bronco has a standard “limp home system” to keep drivers from being stranded if most or all of the engine’s coolant is lost. The engine will run on only half of its cylinders at a time, reduce its power and light a warning lamp on the dashboard so the driver can get to a service station for repairs. The Grenadier doesn’t offer a lost coolant limp home mode, so a coolant leak could strand you or seriously damage the truck’s engine.

To lower fuel costs and make buying fuel easier, the Ford Bronco uses regular unleaded gasoline (premium recommended for maximum performance). The Grenadier requires premium, which can cost on average about 84.9 cents more per gallon.

The Bronco has a standard cap-less fueling system. The fuel filler is automatically opened when the fuel nozzle is inserted and automatically closed when it’s removed. This eliminates the need to unscrew and replace the cap and it reduces fuel evaporation, which causes pollution. The Grenadier doesn’t offer a cap-less fueling system or a tether to prevent losing the cap.

The Ford Bronco’s independent front suspension is much lighter than the INEOS Grenadier’s solid front axle, which allows the Bronco’s wheels to react more quickly and accurately to the road’s surface, improving both ride and handling.

The Bronco Badlands/Stroppe/Raptor has an active front sway bar, which helps keep it flat and controlled during cornering, but disconnects at lower speeds to smooth the ride and offer greater off-road suspension articulation. This helps keep the tires glued to the road on-road and off. The Grenadier doesn’t offer an active sway bar system.

The Bronco offers an optional driver-adjustable suspension system. It allows the driver to choose between an extra-supple ride, reducing fatigue on long trips, or a sport setting, which allows maximum control for tricky roads or off-road. The Grenadier’s suspension doesn’t offer adjustable shock absorbers.

For much better steering response and tighter handling the Bronco has rack and pinion steering, like Formula racecars, instead of the recirculating-ball type steering of the Grenadier.

The Bronco’s drift compensation steering can automatically compensate for road conditions which would cause the vehicle to drift from side to side, helping the driver to keep the vehicle straight more easily. The Grenadier doesn’t offer drift compensation steering.

For a smoother ride and more stable handling, the Bronco 4-Door’s wheelbase is 1.1 inches longer than on the Grenadier (116.1 inches vs. 115 inches).

The Bronco 4-Door has a larger cargo volume with its rear seat folded than the Grenadier with its rear seat folded (83 vs. 71 cubic feet).

A low lift-over cargo hatch design makes loading and unloading the Bronco easier. The Bronco’s cargo hatch lift-over height is 31 inches, while the Grenadier’s liftover is 35.3 inches.

The Bronco 4-Door’s optional sliding cargo floor makes loading and unloading cargo easier and safer. The Grenadier doesn’t offer a sliding load floor.

The Bronco’s rear cargo window opens separately from the rest of the right swing out door to allow quicker loading of small packages. The Grenadier’s rear cargo window doesn’t open.

An Intelligent Oil Life Monitor is standard on the Bronco to save the owner time and money by calculating maintenance intervals for oil changes, based on actual driving conditions. This takes the guesswork out of keeping your vehicle in top condition and helps it last longer. INEOS doesn’t offer a maintenance reminder on the Grenadier.

The Bronco (except Manual) offers a remote vehicle starting system, so the vehicle can be started from inside the driver's house. This allows the driver to comfortably warm up the engine before going out to the vehicle. The Grenadier doesn’t offer a remote starting system.

The engine computer on the Bronco automatically engages the starter until the car starts with one twist of the key and disables the starter while the engine is running. The Grenadier’s starter can be accidentally engaged while the engine is running, making a grinding noise and possibly damaging the starter and ring gear.

The Bronco’s instruments include an oil pressure gauge and a temperature gauge - which could save your engine! Often ‘idiot lights’ don’t warn you until damage has been done. The Grenadier does not have an oil pressure gauge.

The Bronco’s power parking brake sets with one touch and releases with one touch or automatically. The Grenadier has a lever-type parking brake that has to be strenuously raised to engage properly. It has to be lifted up more and a button depressed to release it.

The Bronco’s standard power windows have a locking feature to keep children in the rear seat from operating them, but the driver can still raise and lower all of them with the lock engaged. INEOS does not offer a locking feature on the Grenadier’s standard power windows.

The Bronco’s front power windows open or close with one touch of the switches, making it more convenient at drive-up windows and toll booths, or when talking with someone outside of the car. The Grenadier’s power windows’ switches have to be held the entire time to close them fully.

In case you lock your keys in your vehicle, or don’t have them with you, you can let yourself in using the Bronco’s available exterior PIN entry system. The Grenadier doesn’t offer an exterior PIN entry system.

The Push Button Start standard on the Bronco allows you to start the engine without removing the key from the pocket or purse. The INEOS Grenadier doesn’t offer an advanced key system. The Bronco Big Bend/Outer Banks/Badlands/Stroppe/Raptor/Heritage’s available Intelligent Access also allows you to unlock the doors from either front outside door handle and unlock the cargo door.

While driving with high beams on, sensitive light sensors standard on the Bronco detect other vehicles which could be blinded and automatically switch to low beams. The Grenadier doesn’t offer automatic dimming high beams.

To shield the driver and front passenger’s vision over a larger portion of the windshield and side windows, the Bronco has standard extendable sun visors. The Grenadier doesn’t offer extendable visors.

The Bronco Outer Banks/Badlands/Stroppe/Raptor/Heritage’s standard rear view mirror has an automatic dimming feature. This mirror can be set to automatically darken quickly when headlights shine on it, keeping following vehicles from blinding or distracting the driver. The Grenadier doesn’t offer the luxury of an automatic dimming rear view mirror.

On extremely cold winter days, the Bronco Outer Banks/Badlands/Raptor/Stroppe’s standard heated steering wheel provides comfort, allowing the driver to steer safely and comfortably before the vehicle heater warms up. The Grenadier doesn’t offer a heated steering wheel.

The Bronco 4-Door offers an optional center folding armrest for the rear passengers. A center armrest helps make rear passengers more comfortable and it can provide a boundary between children. The Grenadier doesn’t offer a rear seat center armrest.

The Bronco Big Bend/Outer Banks/Badlands/Stroppe/Raptor/Heritage’s standard dual zone air conditioning allows the driver and front passenger to choose two completely different temperatures so people with different temperature preferences won’t have to compromise. This makes both the driver and front passenger as comfortable as possible. The Grenadier doesn’t offer dual zone air conditioning.

To keep a safe, consistent following distance, the Bronco (except Base/Big Bend/Heritage) offers an optional Adaptive Cruise Control, which alters the speed of the vehicle without driver intervention. This allows the driver to use cruise control more safely without constantly having to disengage it when approaching slower traffic. The Grenadier doesn’t offer an adaptive cruise control.

Compared to the INEOS Grenadier, the Ford Bronco (except Base/Big Bend/Heritage) eliminates the need for separate garage door openers and associated risks of losing, breaking, or having dead batteries with its optional integrated Homelink® universal remote controlled from the driver’s visor.

To quickly and conveniently keep personal devices charged without cables tangling and wearing out, the Ford Bronco Outer Banks/Badlands/Wildtrak/Raptor offers an optional wireless phone charging system (Qi) in the front center console. The Grenadier doesn’t offer wireless personal charging.
